little surprises

I love little surprises.  Most of the time.  

This little surprise came the other night in the form of a Facebook Notification.  It's the little things.  

Dana Todd from DMT Photography did a photo shoot with her new (adorable) nephew a couple of weeks ago.  She wrapped him up in a WeeWants and tagged me in all of the pictures.  She took great pictures that day (and takes great pictures every other day) and I am so happy to have been a part of this captured moment!

new goal.

I am going to try (try being emphasized) to blog every day for the rest of September.  This is my new goal for the month.

I have so many projects right now going on that it shouldn't be too hard to post something about each one as they are done. 

My husband & son also provide A LOT of fuel for good stories...so that should fill up some of my blogging days.

The hope is that I will be able to keep up with this and give you all a peek into my life, the boring days, the crazy days & the productive days.

That being said, I was so thrilled to have been asked by Dana Todd of DMT Photography to create a custom, very large (in relation to what I normally make) quilt for her to use in her photo shoots.  This past weekend, she did a maternity shoot and featured the quilt...so cool for me to see my work shot by such an amazing photographer.  Here is an image from the shoot.
